Adrian Wootton
Adrian Wootton is the Chief Executive of Film London and the British Film Commission. In addition to this he is an editor, festival director, writer and programme advisor.
He has editedBlack Friday and Selected Storiesa collection of crime stories by David Goodis, and is currently working on a biography of him. His passion for crime is further attested to as Director of the crime and mystery festival, Crime Scene.
Adrian appeared in the 2009 documentaryCharles Dickens’ Englandand is co-ordinating the film and television components of London’s Dickens 2012 celebrations. This will include co-ordinating a large television and film retrospective, commencing in a world tour; co-editing a collection of articles on Dickens in film and executive producing a new film on Dickens in Film.
On Saturday 28 January Adrian will appear at Warwick Arts Centre for Film Talk: Adrian Wootton – Bicentenary of Dickens’ Birth.
