Sexual Health Awareness Week
Sexual Health Awareness Week was the first dedicated week of its kind on a university campus.
Organised by the Centre for the History of Medicine in collaboration with a range of University departments, the Student Union, and a range of national and international charities, SHAW explored - through art, drama, film, research, and critical discussion - the changing personal, national and global politics of sexual health.
It also disseminated information about STDs, provided free testing, conducted surveys, and raised money for charities.
SHAW was designed for UK University based attendees and students. Please be advised information on this web refers to this demographic.
