  • Perceptions: HIV/AIDS a national or global concern today?
  • Institutionalisation of agencies for HIV/AIDS (e.g. Terrence Higgins Trust, UNAIDS) on a national and international scale
  • From ‘the public’ to specific ‘target groups’
  • Political economy of HIV/AIDS: pharmaceutical industry, multimedia and underground drug trade (mobilisation)
  • Motivation for HIV/AIDS activism today
