Lee Harwood - Chanson Dada

Download MP3

Lee Harwood discusses Tristan Tzara’s life and politics, and reads translations of Tzara’s poetry and manifestos. The event marks the launch of some translations in Chanson Dada (Coach House Press, 1987), and takes place at The Moon pub in London, 17th February 1990, most likely for the Sub Voicive Poetry Series. For two pieces, ‘L’admiral cherche une maison a louer’ and the ‘Sixteenth Dada Manifesto,’ Harwood is joined by Bob Cobbing, Robert Sheppard and Patricia Farrell.
