A L Kennedy
A L Kennedy is a multiple award-winning author, who has produced novels, a novella, collections of short stories, non-fiction books, stage plays, television and feature film scripts and numerous columns in the Guardian over the past decade. She was born and grew up in Dundee and came to the University of Warwick to study Theatre Studies and Drama, returning as a visiting lecturer in the 1990s. Her distinctive fictional voice has been described as austere and emotionally loaded, but is also laced with flashes of wit and a touch of magical realism.
