George Oppen

George Oppen was an American poet who is considered one of the early exponents of Objectivism, a group which included poets such as Lorine Niedecker, Muriel Rukeyser, Charles Rakosi and Kenneth Rexroth. He was awarded the Pulitzer Prize in 1969.
