Leila Rasheed
Leila Rasheed is the author of four books for children, including Chips, Beans and Limousines: The Fantastic Diary of Bathsheba Clarice de Trop (Usborne, 2008).
She was born in Birmingham but brought up in Libya. Things got steadily more confusing as she moved to Belgium, married a Dane and moved to Italy. She spends most of her time booking a flight to somewhere else.
She has an MA in Children’s Literature (Roehampton) and an MA in Writing (Warwick) and now tutors on the Warwick Writing Programme. She has also worked for a children’s literacy charity and as a children’s bookseller.
