Conference in Brussels about Belarus
On 1 December, WUB Hub, along with several partners, organised the conference 'Belarus: A Part Of or Apart From Europe's Security'. The event was held at the Mission of Democratic Belarus in Brussels and involved participants from Belarus and experts on the country.
The event was organised by Warwick Ukraine-Belarus Hub (WUB Hub), the Office of Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, the Mission of Democratic Belarus, the Kaściuška Security Studies Institute (KSSI), and the Centre for Baltic and East European Studies (CBEES) at Södertörn University. Keynote addresses were given by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya (pre-recorded) and Aymeric Dupont from the EU's European External Action Service (EEAS). Dr Paul Hansbury and Dr Victoria Leukavets both spoke on a panel titled 'Belarus: Security Beyond its Borders'.
