The PhD Development Day: Publish your Research event sought to provide attendees with an opportunity to broaden their knowledge, share their research, and enhance their professional networks. The day included sessions on Open Access publishing, a poster presentation showcase, 'How to get Published' expert session, and a Q&A, as well as multiple opportunities for speakers and attendees to network.

The organisers said:

"The event provided an environment where attendees could forge cross-institutional connections, fostering personal development and acquiring crucial insights to propel their (non)-academic careers forward. It furthermore highlighted the strength and diversity of our research community, leaving us inspired and motivated to continue our PhD journeys. We are very grateful to the MGS ESRC DTP, our speakers, the poster presenters and all the attendees who made this a remarkable event."
