Dear All,

I hope this finds you well.

One idea that arose from our committee meeting was to use some of our INTEGRATE funding to support URSS students in 2017.

If you would like to recruit undergraduates to conduct 8 weeks of AMR related research (involving an EPS discipline), please have a look at the INTEGRATE Summer Research Bursary page:

http://warwick.ac.uk/wamic/integrate/urss/

All INTEGRATE PIs should have 'edit permissions' to add their names and project ideas.

Alternatively, you can email me the information and I will add it to the site.

Kind regards,

Rika

Looking to Gain Research Skills this Summer?

The INTEGRATE Summer Research Bursary provides a chance to work on the global problem of antimicrobial resistance (AMR) by offering an opportunity for Undergraduates to spend the summer conducting novel multi-disciplinary research at the University of Warwick.
The Research Bursary aims to identify and develop the AMR researchers of the future. The eventual goal is to significantly grow the number of students studying for an MRes and PhD. The projects will be designed such that each student will be able to use their experience to produce a poster, abstract and online portfolio.

Award value: £2000 over 8 weeks
Number of awards: up to 10
Award covers: Cost of living (£200 per week), research costs (£400)
Eligibility: The scheme is open to current University of Warwick students, excluding finalists. In order to be eligible for this funding, projects must involve an EPS discipline (Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, Chemistry)
