Medicines Discovery Catapult Facility
First-in-UK technology launched at Warwick
Located in the Warwick School of Life Sciences, the Catapult facilities are targeted at developing new complex biological assays and advanced biochemical analysis, utlising the first ‘quad’ solid state NMR probe in the UK. These facilities will enable the industrial and academic communities to innovate together for better medicines.
Advanced mass spectrometry and liquid handling in the facility will support advanced screening and target validation to identify future therapies for complex diseases.
The initial focus will be on tackling the increasing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR).
