Travel

The most convenient airport is Birmingham (20 minutes and £35 by taxi) with flights from Dubai, New York and most European Cities.

London Heathrow is 90 minutes drive or reachable via train (via London) or bus. Chauffer cars can be arranged from LHR for about £150 one way

How do I get from London Heathrow (From Athina Anastasaki!) - NB try and fly to Birmingham maybe changing in Amsterdam, Paris, Frankfurt, Brussells or Dubai

1) With National Express coaches, they depart from all terminals at Heathrow and they take you all the way down to Pool Meadow in a direct way (in less than 2 hours, a return ticket will be about 50 pounds). From Pool Meadow, they can then take bus 11 or 12 which is a 15-25 minutes ride to Warwick university and they should get off in the Arts Center. (they should have exact fare, 2.2 pounds for one way ticket and they buy the ticket from the driver)

Here is a link for the national express coaches:

http://www.nationalexpress.com/home.aspx

2) (I do not recommend this option as underground can be complicated if they have not been there before and it does not save them any time) They can take the underground from heathrow to london euston (40 minutes, less than 10 pounds) and then from London Euston to Coventry they can come with either virgin trains (one hour train, around 40 pounds) or London Midlands train (one hour and 45 minutes train, around 15 pounds), this will get them to Coventry railway station and from there they can get again 11 or 12 to get to warwick.

Here is a link for the train services:

From Birmingham it is very easy as there is just one train that can take them to coventry railway station (around 4 pounds one way, the ticket can be purchased either in the train if they find the train manager or from the allocated machines at Birmingham airport). Then from the railway station bus 11 or 12. Or a taxi from the airport for about £35

Campus

The Campus has a full supermarket, a pharmacy, 2 banks, many catering outlets and restaurants/bars. It is 2 miles from Coventry (the closest city - not Warwick!!) which is a city of about 250,000 people.

Sunday night

This is the night of the Euro 2016 final and we hope this will be on our big outdoor screen on campus opposite the terrace bar, altrnatively congregate in the Dirty Duck on campus (if you arrive on Sunday)
