Lectures Lavoisier, Paris 2013

The Lavoisier Lectures provided the perfect opportunity for Prof. Pat Unwin to catch up with Alumni Dr. Anisha Patel who is currently working in an electrochemistry postdoc position in Paris. Pat Unwin spoke at the lectures on three main topics: "The Long and Winding Road to Nanoscale Electrochemical Imaging"; "Beyond Received Wisdom: New Models for Electrochemistry at Carbon Electrodes" and "An Electrochemist's View of Crystal Dissolution and Growth Processes", covering the controversial HOPG work published within the group earlier this year. The talks were well recieved.

At the start of his talk Pat also mentioned that Jean Michel Savéant inspired him to pursue research in electrochemistry.

Pat spoke at the conference covering various topics : "The Long and Winding Road to Nanoscale Electrochemical Imaging"; "Beyond Received Wisdom: New Models for Electrochemistry at Carbon Electrodes" and "An Electrochemist's View of Crystal Dissolution and Growth Processes", where he covered the controversial findings of the groups recent research into HOPG.
