I graduated from Warwick in 2018 with a first class masters degree in chemistry. As part of my masters course I undertook a project in the group of Professor Julie Macpherson on the electrochemical etching of diamond as a preperative technique for making thin dimamond membranes. I then resumed this project in august, as part of a Royal Society sponsored PhD.
My current project is titled "Understanding and Exploiting Electrochemical Etch Mechanisms in Diamond and Graphitic Materials".
Conferences and Presentations:
69th De Beers Diamond Conference, Warwick, UK - "Electrochemical Etching and Lift-Off of Thin Single-Crystal Diamond Membranes". Poster Presentation.
