Understanding Tooth Decay at the Nanoscale and the Development of Next Generation Treatments

The main goal of my first-year project is to investigate the effects of weak acids and buffers on enamel dissolution. This investigation will use CLSM and a pH sensitive fluorescent dye to probe the changes in rate of enamel dissolution.
