Q&A

General details

Q&A will be done via email listserv.

  • All registered participants will be automatically subscribed to 12 listservs, one for each session.
  • The listservs will only be active from Monday, March 27 through Friday, March 31. You will receive one digest per day from each list. You will receive instructions to unsubscribe if you so choose to do so.
  • The email addresses for the lists are of the form dcc_sessionX@list.arizona.edu, where X denotes the session number. The poster session list is dcc_posters@list.arizona.edu
  • To ask a question or to reply to a question, simply send an email to the appropriate list. Please send it from the email account used in your conference registration.
  • We request that the subject line of your question/answer is the last name of the first author of the paper to which the question/answer pertains.
  • The lists will be moderated by session chairs. Only questions and answers that conform to the Q&A schedule below will be approved by the session chair. Attachments are not permitted. The IEEE SPS requires that we report whether authors participate in the Q&A.

Schedule

All times are Mountain Daylight – Utah time. All days refer to March 27 - 31, 2023.

  • The initial question period begins at 10:00 am Monday and ends at 9:00 pm Monday. Registered attendees may ask questions to any of the lists during this period.
    • Session Chair reviews questions no earlier than 10:00 pm Monday and no later than 9:00 am Tuesday. A digest of accepted questions for each list is sent to all participants at 10:00 am Tuesday.
    • Authors must respond to their questions via the lists by 9:00 pm Tuesday.
    • Session Chair reviews responses no earlier than 10:00 pm Tuesday and no later than 9:00 am Wednesday. A digest of answers for each list is sent to all participants at 10:00 am Wednesday.
  • Follow Up Question period begins at 10:00 am Wednesday and ends at 9:00 pm Wednesday. Registered attendees may ask follow-up questions to any of the lists during this period.
    • Session Chair reviews questions no earlier than 10:00 pm Wednesday and no later than 9:00 am Thursday. A digest of accepted questions for each list is sent to all participants at 10:00 am Thursday.
    • Authors must respond to their follow-up questions via the lists by 9:00 pm Thursday.
    • Session Chair reviews responses no earlier than 10:00 pm Thursday and no later than 9:00 am Friday. A digest of answers for each list is sent to all participants at 10:00 am Friday.
