Set Up Archives

Archives can be added, deleted or renamed and associated with a data source by choosing Met Data Archives from the File/Setup menu.

When the dialogue box opens the first archive in the list will be highlighted. Select a different archive by using the down arrow on the keyboard or clicking on the name with the mouse. To associate a data source with an archive, select an archive in the archive list box and then select a data source from the met archive combo box.

New creates a new archive For the following operations, select (highlight) a field. After clicking some buttons a new dialogue box will appear. Rename asks the user for a new name for a field Delete removes a field from the list All changes can be undone by clicking Cancel. Otherwise click OK to close the dialogue.
