Open MORPH INI File

Once you have located the MORPH.INI file you must then open it to edit it. If the file is not already associated with a text editor to open the file then you will need to right-click on the file and select “Open with” and then “Choose Program…”, see screen shot below.

A dialog box should then pop-up and allow you to choose a program from the list. Select “Notepad” as the tool to open the file with for editing (see screenshot below). If you have another text editor that you would prefer to use then select that instead, do NOT use tools like Microsoft Word though. Tools such as Microsoft Word are not suitable for this type of file editing as they may add in extra line breaks and formatting information which will make the MORPH.INI file unusable.

Once you have selected the application to open the file with, and clicked on the OK button (see above screen shot), you will then be presented with the open MORPH.INI similar to that one seen in the screenshot below.
