Medical students win bursaries for research
Six students from Warwick Medical School have all been awarded bursaries to help gain an insight into carrying out original research.
Ian Whitehead, Cecilia Ng, Sarah Spencer, Camilla Day, Tim Williamson, David Metcalfe and John Davey all took part in the University of Warwick's 2007-08 Undergraduate Research Scholarship Scheme (URSS)
The Scheme invites departments and research centres to nominate potential projects which offer research opportunities for undergraduates across the University. The Scheme is also supported by the University's Reinvention Centre.
One of the students Ian Whitehead said: "URSS afforded me the opportunity to become involved with research into medical education. Through this I gained a deeper insight into qualitative research methods, something I had no previous experience of."
