Dr Agnieszka Ignatowicz

My research interests lie at the interface of sociology, applied ethics and health services research. I have led and worked on projects that span person-centred approaches to medicine, patient and provider experiences, virtues and values in medical practice, ethical challenges of digital communication in patient-clinical communication, and decision-making in intensive care units. Alongside my research, I serve as an advisor for the West Midlands Research Design Service (RDS), providing research design advice and technical expertise in qualitative and patient and public involvement to those preparing proposals for submission to peer-reviewed funding competitions.
