Herein lie some of the responses (other than myself) when searching for Robert Gardner in the big bad world of Google:

• Robert Gardner - the film director and author was the Director of the Film Study Center at Harvard University for 40 years and has almost 20 films under his belt.
• Rob Gardner - the original drummer with Guns N' Roses.
• Robert Gardner - a mathematics professor at the University of Massachusetts, specialising in nonlinear PDEs, dynamical systems and (quite coincidentally!) mathematical biology.
• Robert "Bob" Gardner - a mathematician at East Tennessee State University.
• Robert Gardner - an ecologist at the University of Maryland Center for Environmental Science.
• Robert Gardner - psychology professor at the University of Ontario.
