Department of Statistics and Warwick Centre for Analytical Science (W-CAS)

£36,862 - £44,016 pa

This established post is in the Department of Statistics, with a special emphasis on engagement in the research, teaching and administration of the Warwick Centre for Analytical Science (W-CAS). Funded by the EPSRC Science and Innovation scheme, W-CAS is a unique research centre focused on advanced instrumentation and analytical methodology for the physical and life sciences. The
Department of Statistics at Warwick is large and vibrant, with extensive research activity spanning statistical methodology, applied statistics and probability.

You will conduct and publish high-quality research, and will be engaged in the teaching and administration activities of the Department of Statistics and W-CAS.

The Warwick Centre for Analytical Science promotes the growth of analytical science across several Departments, including Chemistry, Life Sciences, Physics and the Warwick Medical School.
You will interact with other members of the Department of Statistics and W-CAS to integrate modern statistical approaches into Analytical Sciences at Warwick.

The appointment is expected to be made at the Assistant Professor level and is
available from 1 March 2012 (or later start date by negotiation).

You will have a strong track record of research in statistical methodology or modern applied statistics, and a desire to enhance your international research profile through interdisciplinary collaboration and knowledge transfer.
