Our esteemed Chair of the WCAS Advisory Board Committee, Professor William Heineman, will be giving a seminar entitled "Chemical Sensors Based on Spectroelectrochemistry" on Tuesday 10th August at 11.00 am in MS:04.

Dr Jenny Pringle from the Ionic Liquids Group at Monash University (Australia)  will be visiting the Centre and the Chemistry Department  on Thursday 22nd July to give a talk entitled "Synthesis of Conducting Polymers in Ionic Liquids, and their Application in Dye-Sensitised Solar Cells" in Room C521 (5th Floor Chemistry) at 10.30 am.

Dr Jie Zhang from Monash University in Australia will be giving a lecture entitled "Nanoparticle Amplified Utrasensitive Electrochemical Biosensors: Experimental and Theoretical Studies" on Monday 5th July at 3.30 pm in MS.04 (Maths).

Dr Jie Zhang's lecture will be preceded by Professor Greg Swain's lecture at 2.30 pm.
