Advanced Propulsion Research Laboratory
With international consensus on the need to improve air quality and reduce CO2 emissions, the Advanced Propulsion Research Laboratory (APRL) provides a state-of-the-art powertrain research and development facility.
The APRL is an open-access facility which will enable companies to develop and implement world-leading propulsion technologies and expertise to drive growth in the sector. This facility supports WMG's Advanced Propulsion Systems research activities, and is open for use by industrial and academic organisations.
The facility received funding of £14.5m from the Government’s UK Research Partnership Investment Fund (UKRPIF), via Research England.
