Dr Ashley Liew trained in Paediatrics and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist working in the Learning Disabilities service of Forward Thinking Birmingham, as well as Consultant Paediatric Neuropsychiatrist at Birmingham Children's Hospital with clinical expertise in Paediatric Epilepsy and Epilepsy Surgery, Inherited Metabolic Disorders, and Paediatric Liaison Psychiatry. He is Clinical Lead for Research and Information Technology in Forward Thinking Birmingham. Ashley has a Masters in Clinical Neuropsychiatry and has research interests in children with intellectual disabilities, paediatric neuropsychiatry (particularly epilepsy and Tourette syndrome), medical education, and technology in child mental health.
