Open to all University of Warwick staff and students, this one-day symposium will aim to be a space for exploring and challenging how academic writing is practiced and performed at Warwick.

The day will be divided into 3 parts:
1. The scene will be set by Dr Julia Molinari (The Open University) who will
talk about her work on ‘What Makes Writing Academic’.
2. Participants will then discuss a selection of provocations to challenge
and disrupt our thinking about academic writing.
3. Participants will collectively write a manifesto for a reimagined
approach to Academic Writing at the University of Warwick.
