Guide to Editing your Writing
Location: Teams
Editing is an academic’s bread and butter, but turning that first draft into a polished essay can be a tricky skill to master. In this one-hour session, we give an introductory guide to editing your academic writing, helping you communicate your written arguments with clarity and precision. You’ll also learn tips and tricks for effective editing and reflect on improving your own practice.
For this session, you will need a sample of your academic writing of at least 250 words. This sample will help us practice editing together and learn from one another’s approaches.
