Keith Hyams and Jess Sutherland will host a webinar on Thursday 21st November 2024, 1-2pm, to launch the Ethics in Policy Deliberation Toolkit, developed together with the University of Cape Town and the Cape Town City Government.

The webinar will introduce the toolkit and explain how it can facilitate effective policymaking in local government and beyond. Speakers include a member of Risk and Resilience team at the Cape Town City government, who will be speaking on the experience of piloting the toolkit in Cape Town and how it has impacted their approach to policy and programming.

There will be a chance for the audience to ask questions and to explore the application of the toolkit in participant’s particular national and policy contexts. The webinar is open to participants from any country, including policy practitioners, academics, and the public.
