Members of the Careers team will lead the discussion and students will need to be willing to actively engage with the topic and be ready to ask questions and share experiences of writing applications.

Firms will include RPC, Reed Smith, Weil, Milbank, Pinsent Masons, Mayer Brown, Sidley, Ashurst, Ropes & Gray, Hogan Lovells, Latham & Watkins, Linklaters, BCLP, Covington, CMS, White & Case and Arnold and Porter. This event has been created to help LGBTQ+ Undergraduate and Postgraduate students find out more about potential careers in law with our participating firms. We’ll be discussing being LGBTQ+ in the workplace and specific graduate and internship schemes. After the event, students can apply for mentoring opportunities with our clients too.

Are you an international student interested in working in the UK? This session will outline the main options for working in the UK including the new graduate immigration route. The session will be delivered by one of the immigration advisers from the University’s Immigration & Compliance Team.

The free online event is open to all students (both undergraduates and postgraduates) and gives students from all universities the opportunity to meet nearly 60 of the nation’s leading law firms.
