In-Sessional English 1 to 1 Writing SurgeryWriting surgeries are an opportunity to meet with an Insessional tutor to gain advice about Academic Writing. Attending a surgery appointment will be very useful if you have recently received some feedback from assignments that you would like to discuss, or if you are due to submit an assignment shortly and would like advice. You can request guidance on any aspect of academic writing, but please note that we are unable to proofread work in detail or to provide intensive language correction. This is in line with the university's proof-reading policy. Book your one-to-one 20 minute slot online. |

Working as a trainee for a regional law firm like Lester AldridgeThe session will be delivered by Warwick Alumni Samantha Smith, Solicitor, who will share her experiences of undertaking her training contract at leading regional law firm Lester Aldridge. After completing her LPC, she joined Lester Aldridge as a trainee solicitor and obtained experience in a variety of seats before qualifying into their Real Estate team. The session will explore what it is like to work as a trainee solicitor at a regional law firm, followed by an opportunity to ask questions. |
