The Bar Council returns with our first in-person Pupillage Fair exhibition since 2019. Taking place at etc. venues, 133 Houndsditch, Liverpool Street, London, on Saturday 15 October 2022, you will be able to visit over 80 exhibitors and meet with representatives from a wide range of pupillage providers and experts from across the Bar. This year the Pupillage Fair will also include a series of online fringe events in the week leading up to the exhibition on Saturday 15 October 2022, through which you will be able to hear what life is like as a barrister working in different areas of practice and find out about joining the Bar as a career changer or an applicant with a disability.

In this session, we will be guiding students through creating a profile and demonstrating how LinkedIn can effectively be used for networking and recruitment.

This is an exclusive opportunity to hear from a panel of 3VB barristers, including QC and junior members, about life as a barrister, top tips on how to apply for pupillage, different routes to the Bar and much more. Applications to attend our Student Open Day are welcomed from first year undergraduates (in both law and non-law subjects) upwards.

The Warwick Centre for Critical Legal Studies is delighted to be hosting Michael Ng from the University of Hong Kong, for a seminar on the colonial histories of free speech and the rule of law. The event has a capacity of 50 people, so pease come early to be sure to get a space.

Through the use of scientific and mathematical techniques, GORS analysts bring intellectual rigour to the decision-making process across government. At GORS you can expect to work on projects that challenge your creativity as well as your intellect. This presentation will outline some of the graduate and placement opportunities as a Government Operational Research Analyst. It will include a presentation with details about the roles, as well as opportunity for Q&A.

Join all four Inns of Court (Inner Temple, Middle Temple, Gray’s Inn and Lincoln’s Inn) to hear from practitioners about a career at the Bar. The evening is open to everyone aged 16 and over with an interest in becoming a barrister and learning more about the profession. If you’re an undergraduate, postgraduate or career changer, this is an opportunity to hear from Barristers about the profession.
