Breaking the News with the British LibraryCurator and film historian, Luke McKernan, discusses his new exhibition with the British Library, Breaking the News, and explains how much has changed in how we report news in Britain over five centuries. We’ll be asking important questions surrounding the laws of free press, ethics, objectivity and content in the news, alongside why the exhibition was created and what it means to report the news. It’s set to be a truly interesting evening, with a Q&A following after with the expert. We believe students would both benefit and enjoy this event, especially if they are interested in media law, ethics, and regulation. Tickets: £5. |
