How do I use this calendar?

Register your place at our upcoming Virtual Open Days taking place on 17-19 June 2021.

Attending an Open Day is the best way to find out more about what studying economics at Warwick is like. You will be able hear from academic staff and current students, get a virtual tour the campus and get a real feel for life at the University. You'll also get the opportunity to hear a real-life mini lecture from a Professor of Economics.

After the session, you will be able to chat with Dr Atisha Ghosh, Teaching Fellow and Academic Lead on Careers and Skills.

Your Student Experience with Christian Soegaard, Director of Academic and Pastoral Support

We believe it's important to invest in the whole student experience to ensure you receive a rich and rounded experience outside the lecture hall. In this session you will hear more about the extra-curricular activities we run in the Department including exciting 360 Guest Lectures and the Personal Development Module.

To experience all that economics at Warwick has to offer we highly recommend you join our live sessions as they offer the chance for you to ask questions to our speakers in our live Q&As. However, don't worry if you can't make it - we will be recording our sessions which will be available to watch on demand at a time that suits you.

SolidariTee Conference: Refugees beyond the Mediterranean

Our one-day 2021 Refugee Week Conference seeks to understand and explore forcible displacement outside of the Mediterranean, which all too often receives next to no coverage across the UK's mainstream media. With a mixture of panel discussions and keynote talks, we will be covering displacement contexts ranging from Rohingya refugees fleeing Myanmar and internally displaced peoples worldwide, to the UK's own hostile environment. Tickets are available on a donation basis with a suggested minimum donation of £5. We believe strongly that access to education should be accessible for all, so if this poses a barrier, please email outreach@solidaritee.org.uk for a link to join the conference free of charge.
