The question of reparations has a long and contentious history. Reparations were part of the Slavery Abolition Act 1833, with payments made to slave owners for their economic loss. These payments compounded and entrenched wealth and power in many institutional and family names familiar today. Conversely, the issue of reparations to families, communities, and populations who lived through or continue to experience the deprivations and racism entrenched by chattel slavery have been fiercely contested.

This webinar will be a short presentation on creating CVs and covering letters and completing application forms. It will be followed by the opportunity to ask any questions that you may have in regards to writing effective applications.

We will also look into the most efficient ways to answer questions regarding hard skills, analytical skills and role specific skills.

This presentation will cover information relating to spiking of drinks with alcohol or drugs and injection spiking through needles, first aid protocol, and information on existing support groups.

Representatives from organisations working in particular sectors within television and radio will deliver a series of virtual presentations. Following the presentations, there will be an opportunity for networking with the speakers in an online Q&A session.
