Quadrant Chambers - Women in Chambers eventThe event is free to attend and open to students of all genders at any stage of legal study who are interested in a career at the Commercial Bar. The event will take the form of a panel discussion where some of the female barristers at Quadrant will discuss the reality of life at the Commercial Bar. They are at differing stages in their careers, from pupils and new tenants through to our new female Head of Chambers, Poonam Melwani QC. They will give a range of perspectives on their work, the challenges and rewards and how the career affects their work/life balance. The discussion will be followed by some smaller breakout sessions for a more informal fireside chat, where you can ask questions and get some first-hand knowledge of life at the Commercial Bar. |
