How do I use this calendar?

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Heidegger Reading Group

Heidegger Reading Group

We are happy to announce that the Heidegger Reading Group will continue in term 2! This time, we will read a couple of Heidegger’s essays, starting with “What is Metaphysics?” today. We will decide on the other readings successively, but they will for example include ‘On the Essence of Ground’ and the ‘Letter on Humanism’. Everybody is invited to join. Additionally, we will stream the reading group via Microsoft Teams so that Haley Burke can join from Texas; if you cannot attend in person and would like to participate online as well, please get in touch with Frido.

 

Time: every Monday during term, 5-6.30 p.m. (08. January – 11. March 2024)

Introduction to Economics
Online

In partnership with Discover Economics and the Warwick Economics Summit, we are delighted to invite you to a free, interactive event for 16-18 year old students, parents and teachers.

Location: Online (MS Teams)

This Introduction to Economics event aims to provide 16-18 year old students, parents and their teachers with an exciting opportunity to discover more about economics as a subject, experience an interactive taster lecture delivered by the Department of Economics and hear from current undergraduate students on what it's like to study economics at university. There will also be the chance to hear from economists about the wide-ranging work they do and the possible career opportunities open to economists.

*Attendees of this event will also be eligible to attend the Warwick Economic Summit for FREE on 2-4 February 2024. If you are interested, please opt-in to receiving a free ticket when registering for this event.
