Global giant Pinsent Masons is one of the UK’s largest training firms, offering 72 training contracts each year across its offices, with newly qualified solicitor salaries of up to £92,000. The theme is ‘Going for growth: hot practice areas of the 2020s’. We’ll be exploring four practice areas that look set to perform strongly over the next few years: data, technology, energy and restructuring. There will then be a panel discussion where a Legal Cheek journalist puts students’ questions to the speakers.

Prospective pupils will be able to join us in-person at our Birmingham office, or attend virtually via Zoom, to learn all about pupillage opportunities at the UK’s third largest chambers. We will also be hosting pupils at our London office. To give students an insight into what 3PB offers to pupils and what work is carried out across chambers, speakers at the event will include Simon Astill, 3PB’s Chief Executive, and Cheryl Jones, Head of Pupillage at 3PB, as well as speakers from all six of our locations.

If you are interested in pursuing a career as a barrister. Over 34 chambers and legal organisations from across the country, and covering all practice areas, shall be attending. You will have the opportunity to visit their booths, interact 1-to-1 with their barristers, and ask any questions you may have. I shall also be running an ‘Ask a Future Pupil’ booth to any answer any pupillage questions you may have.
