MA Philosophy, Politics and Economics: Economics and Politics Bipartite
What caused the global financial crisis? What are the impacts of global capitalisms for societies and for human development? How do we measure economic growth and human development? How far are these suitable measurements in the contexts of environmental crisis, inequality and poverty?
The study of PPE: Economics and Politics will give you the opportunity to explore these questions and many others through the principal theoretical currents, critical approaches and economics models. You'll benefit from rigorous economics training and become equipped to engage with key theories, while also being able to focus on the practicalities of a chosen specialism like global political economy or international development, or a specific region like East Asia or Europe.
