How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

Leanne Betasamosake Simpson will be our STC Annual Lecture speaker this year.



Leanne Betasamosake Simpson is a renowned Michi Saagiig Nishnaabeg scholar, writer and artist, who has been widely recognized as one of the most compelling Indigenous voices of her generation. Her work breaks open the intersections between politics, story and song—bringing audiences into a rich and layered world of sound, light, and sovereign creativity. Leanne is the author of seven books including As We Have Always Done: Indigenous Freedom Through Radical ResistanceLink opens in a new window (Minnesota University Press, 2020) and A Short History of the Blockade: Giant Beavers, Diplomacy and Regeneration in NishnaabewinLink opens in a new window (University of Alberta Press, 2021), as well as award winning novels, stories, poetry collections and music albumns. Her new project, a collaboration with Robyn Maynard, Rehearsals for LivingLink opens in a new window is forthcoming from Knopf Canada in 2022.
