Reading Weeks

Both Term 1 and Term 2 contain a 'reading week', during which time no lectures or seminars will take place.

These weeks provide an opportunity for you to consolidate your learning and focus on revision and private study. You will be expected to remain on-campus during both reading weeks and be available for scheduled meetings with your Personal Tutor.

Term Two

10 February - 16 February

Assessment Deadlines

Specific assessment deadlines for each of your modules will be listed on the module Moodle page. You must submit your work by the stated date and time of final submission or you will receive a 5% penalty for each day or part-day that your work is late.

All deadlines for assessed work will take place during the working week (Monday-Friday) during the IFP term. Deadlines will normally take place at 12:00 between Monday - Thursday although the module convenor is responsible for setting the deadline for each piece of assessed work and may choose to set a deadline earlier/later in the day if he/she feels it is appropriate to do so.

For most modules, you will only be asked to submit an electronic copy of your final assessment through Tabula by the stated deadline. For modules which require the submission of hand-drawn graphs or hand-written equations, you will be asked to submit an additional identical hard-copy to the Departmental Secretary by the stated deadline.
