Work With Us

Combination 3

In addition to delivering the Warwick International Foundation Programme, we work with a wide range of different stakeholders to develop and deliver other programmes of study for both home and overseas students. All of our programmes align with our mission to provide world-leading educational programmes that prepare students for future success and we seek to partner with other academic departments and external organisations to further enhance this mission.

The department has extensive expertise teaching pre-degree level students. Our academics teach content across a wide range of discipline areas to overseas and home students. Colleagues within our English Language Team deliver English for Academic Purposes (EAP) and IELTS tuition to overseas students, with some staff qualified as IELTS examiners. Our dedicated Inquiry and Research Skills team is responsible for developing and teaching study skills to students in a manner most appropriate for their own academic and progression ambitions.

The department is able to lead or offer support with, amongst other things:

  • In-sessional top-up classes for students enrolled on other programmes at Warwick (typically around mathematics or study skills)
  • Bespoke short courses or summer programmes for home or international students
  • Development of other foundation/Year 0 pathways for other academic departments within the University
  • Internal or external consultancy in relation to the teaching of students studying below degree level
