Would you like to help a fellow student? Sign up to be a buddy on the WBS Buddy Scheme 22-23!

Interested in supporting a student in a newer cohort than you? Then why not join the WBS Buddy Scheme!!

The WBS buddy scheme is a great opportunity for first year students to be matched with an intermediate or final year student, or a intermediate student to be matched with a final year student. You can benefit from peer to peer support and learn from fellow students experiences and insights.

The scheme has ran in Term 1 already and is now reopening, to allow students to join from Term 2 onwards!

It’s suggested that buddies meet 2-3 times per term, to network and discuss your academic studies should you want insights from another peer. The scheme, though started by WBS is designed to be flexible and informal between buddy pairings.

You can sign up to the scheme to mentor a student in a cohort below your own, by using the below form. This form asks a number of questions to ascertain your preferences. How many of your preferences we can match will be dependent on the number of sign-ups we receive.

Deadline for sign up is is midnight on Wednesday 18th January. This scheme is open to WBS home department students only.

*Please note that this form is if you are looking to be a buddy/mentor for a student in a newer year group. If you would instead like to have a buddy/mentor, please use this link instead: https://warwick.ac.uk/fac/soc/wbs/undergrad/welcome/students/buddyschemesignup22-23/
