Year Abroad 2022-23 Pre-Departure Briefing

As your Year Abroad 2022/23 fast approaches, we're excited to announce that your WBS Pre-Departure Briefing will be held on Thursday 28th April 2022, 3pm - 5pm. Full details for this event can be found in your my.wbs calendar.

This event is compulsory for all current Year 2 BSc International Management and BSc International Business students going on a Year Abroad next academic year 2022/23. The session will provide guidance and advice on preparing for your Year Abroad and your responsibilities while you are away. Topics we will cover include your Year Abroad assessments, key dates and deadlines, finding an international work placement and student mobility paperwork. The session will also cover relevant global updates that may impact your Year Abroad, such as changes related to COVID-19, Erasmus+/Turing grants and more.

We're pleased to confirm that we are planning to hold this event face-to-face on campus and it will be led by your Year Abroad Coordinator, Manuela Galetto, supported by the Undergraduate Office International & Placements team. We are also planning to have representatives from WBS CareersPlus, the Student Mobility Team and your Senior Tutor.

Please confirm your attendance at your Pre-Departure Briefing using the form below. If you are unable to attend this event due to an academic clash, please email undergraduate@wbs.ac.uk to let us know. All other students will be expected to make every effort to attend.
