Please complete the form below in order to request funding towards an activity or event organised by your society or group which is taking place in Term 2 of the 2020/21 academic year. Please ensure you are logged in to this page and read the following guidelines carefully before submitting the bid below:

1. All bids will be considered but those from societies with whom WBS already works are more likely to be prioritised especially those who are actively engaged with the Student Experience team in the Undergraduate Office.
2. Societies who are affiliated with the Students’ Union will be prioritised and those who are not affiliated will not receive direct funding – how they will be funded (if selected) will be discussed once a decision has been made.
3. Societies must include data on their demographic make up of their society including how many WBS students are members.
4. Each society may bid for more than one activity each year however funding will only be provided for a maximum of once per society per term.
5. Any event activity must be in line with government and social distancing guidelines.
6. Successful societies will be expected participate in promotion of their activity and write a report about their activity.
7. Funding will not be provided for any events taking place on the same night as a competing University organised event, or another WBS sponsored society event. We therefore strongly recommend that you do your research on which dates are available before submitting your bid. WBS reserves the right to withdraw funding for dates that are changed and that clash with other activities already being funded by WBS.
