Emily Erickson responds to Work and Pensions Committee report on youth, education and training

Responding to the publication of the Work and Pensions Committee report on 'Youth, education and training', Emily Erickson, Research Fellow, Institute for Employment Research, said: "The Committee conclude that there is much we can learn from apprenticeship schemes in other countries that are effective at reducing youth unemployment. Our VET2050 programme is an ambitious programme to co-create a vision for a high‑quality vocational education and training (VET) system for England. We are weaving international experience into this process."
