Diamonds to be won at Warwick University free event highlighting cutting edge research

New ultrasonic ZIP probe tests Zinc galvanizing kettles while bathed in 450°C molten metal

Zinco UK Limited and Sonemat Limited have signed an agreement to use ultrasonic probe technology developed from research which was first conducted at the University of Warwick. The new probe technology can conduct safety critical testing inside galvanizing kettles equipment while still holding molten zinc at 450°C.

Professor Laura Green awarded OBE

Professor Laura Green, currently Head of the School of Life Sciences and deputy Pro Vice Chancellor (interdisciplinary research and impact) from September 1st, has been appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the Queen’s Birthday Honour’s list for her services to the health and welfare of farmed livestock.
