A Top Ranked University: Warwick’s Rise Reflects Our Vision

With a new cohort of students starting to consider their higher education options, the University of Warwick has placed 7^th in the Guardian University Guide 2026.

Accounting and Finance (ranked 2^nd), Business and Management (ranked 3^rd), English (ranked 5^th), Mathematics (ranked 5^th), and Media and Film Studies (ranked 1^st) were all recognised as nationally-leading in their respective subjects.

Warwick achieved a top ten ranking for student-staff ratio, reflecting our commitment to delivering the highest quality education for our students.

Professor Stuart Croft, Vice-Chancellor and President, University of Warwick, said:

The Guardian University Guide uses a range of metrics to assess overall performance covering every aspect of the student journey, including: entry standards, student-staff ratios, expenditure per student, continuation, student satisfaction, value added, and career prospects.

The Guardian University Guide 2026 is the latest ranking to place Warwick in the top 10 of UK universities – a consistent pattern of excellence and dedication over the last decade.
