Warwick celebrates global community with the return of One World Warwick 2025
The University of Warwick is set to light up November with the return of One World Warwick - a vibrant celebration of its global community, connections, impacts, and opportunities.
Throughout the month, students, staff, alumni, and partners around the world will come together for a series of events that showcase Warwick’s rich cultural diversity and global impact. Including a community kitchen serving food with love, a lantern-lit procession across campus, a celebration by students, staff, and local community in Venice, and a student fair full of international opportunities.
A Truly Global University
Warwick’s community includes students from almost 150 countries, over 2,000 international staff, and a global alumni network with 40% living outside the UK. Together, they make up a dynamic and globally minded community that reflects Warwick’s vision to tackle the world’s most pressing challenges through collaboration and innovation.
Professor Michael Scott, Pro-Vice-Chancellor (International), said: “One World Warwick is about bringing our students, staff, alumni, local communities, and global partners together to celebrate and deepen our shared sense of global community, connections, opportunities and impact.
“It’s a fantastic chance to warmly welcome new members from around the world into our community; to experience the incredible diversity that makes Warwick such a dynamic place; to explore the exciting global opportunities on offer; and to take the first steps in building new international collaborations and friendships.”
