Instructions for abstracts for posters

All abstracts must be submitted electronically via email to Health, Wealth and Nutrition Office. Submitted abstracts will be made available on this web site before and after the meeting.


Instructions for electronic abstract submission

Abstracts should be attached to an email sent as a MS Word document (Authorname.doc) to the Health, Wealth and Nutrition Office.

Abstracts should be typed in Times New Roman 12pt font using single spacing. Abstracts should not occupy more than one side of A4 including title (in bold type), authors (in uppercase, presenting author underlined), affiliations and addresses, text figures, tables and references.

The layout should be as shown in the following example:

EPITHELIAL PROTEOGLYCAN DISRUPTION MAY CONTRIBUTE TO INTESTINAL PROTEIN LOSS IN KWASHIORKOR.

Abstract deadline

Please ensure all abstracts for consideration as posters are received by Friday 23 June 2006.


Poster presentation

Accepted abstracts will be presented as posters during the 4th July Symposium.

The poster should be maximum 0.9m * 0.9m in size.

Posters should be put on display in the Medical Teaching Centre by 8.30am and taken down at 5.30pm. There will be attended poster viewing sessions during morning coffee (10.40am - 11.10am) and afternoon tea (3.30pm - 4.00pm), with further free poster viewing during the lunch interval (1.00pm - 2.00pm).

The University reserves the right not to display any poster with inappropriate material or which is of an insufficient visual quality.
