This is a time of great investment in and technological change in UK rail, with cross-over technology from the auto and digital sectors, and future mobility solutions. The Midlands is at the forefront of many of these technologies, including battery and hydrogen powertrain, light-weighting and digital applications.

Coventry & Warwickshire is home to the major UK rail test site Quinton Rail Technology Centre, which as well as rolling stock testing, is a key site for the demonstration of digital, hydrogen and battery technology.

· Get on Track - Rail Supply Chain

Thursday 29 November, 7:30-9:30am
Eliot Park Innovation Centre

WMG in partnership with Warwickshire County Council, Invest Coventry & Warwickshire, Railway Industry Association, Rail Forum and BCRRE

The UK is making unprecedented investment in mass transit systems, including HS2, but also conventional railway and light and very light rail. This presents great opportunities for advanced manufacturers and engineering companies already in rail, but also those whose capabilities could supply the rail sector, be it infrastructure, rolling stock or signalling and systems.

This event is open to businesses interested in accessing the rail opportunity and for those already active but interested in finding out about the business support available.

The event will also include presentations on some of the local rail technology being developed in Coventry & Warwickshire.
